If you thought that Beyoncé had wrapped up her collaborating duties for the year, you'd be mistaken. Having appeared on tracks with Ed Sheeran and Eminem already, B is keeping it in the family with her final project of 2017: appearing alongside husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy in the video for Jay's latest single.
The trailer for "Family Feud" dropped earlier today, ahead of the video's full release exclusively on Tidal tomorrow. The song is taken from the rapper's Grammy-nominated latest record, 4:44.
The video, laden with religious iconography, sees Jay wearing a pastor's cape and a sharp black suit, walking between the pews of a grand church hand-in-hand with Blue. Beyoncé (rightfully so), looks fierce in the pulpit, wearing a traditional African headdress. Clips of Jay and Bey in the confessional booths are spliced with shots of a couple passionately kissing, before one launches a blade into the other's side.
Earlier this year, Jay confirmed rumors of infidelity in an interview with The New York Times' T Magazine. "Family Feud" is one of a few tracks on 4:44 that tackles his complicated relationship with marriage: something he's clearly channelled into the visuals that will accompany it.
Check out the trailer for his latest track below before the full film launches on January 29th:
