Rumours of a comeback have been swirling since its members were discharged from the military, but with the group's latest news, it's official.&nbsp;

At long last, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/bts-comeback-album-release-date-2026-tour-tickets" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BTS</a> is returning to the music scene with a brand new album. The beloved group has been on hiatus since 2022, but after nearly four years, they're back and better than ever in 2026.&nbsp;
The group announced the new album on Jan. 4, though the name and initial visuals have yet to be revealed. The album is slated to release on March 20, 2026. Fans quickly noted that the group's official Instagram had been wiped clean, just in time for a new era, and linked to an <a href="https://2026bts.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">official countdown website</a>.
The album is expected to be thematically &ldquo;driven by each member&rsquo;s honest introspection as they collectively shaped its direction by weaving their individual perspectives into the music,&rdquo; per a press release from BTS and its label.&nbsp;
In addition to a brand new 14-track album, BTS will also embark on a world tour in 2026, marking the group's first global tour since 2022&mdash;as the 2020 planned tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dates and locations have yet to be announced, but if there's one thing we know, it's that tickets will be in super-high demand, accounting for both the amount of time since the group's last tour and its huge, passionate fanbase.&nbsp;
Between late 2024 and mid-2025, each of the seven members&mdash;RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jung Kook, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/v-bts-best-style-outfits-looks-kim-taehyung-girlfriend-age-album-solo-career-songs-bts-concert-tour" target="_blank" rel="noopener">V</a>, Jimin, and Jin&mdash;finished their respective mandatory military service times and returned to life in the public eye not long after, much to the delight of fans. In the time since, each member has spent time pursuing their solo careers with projects like albums and major music festival performances.&nbsp;
