The K-pop star's label announced the sudden departure on social media.&nbsp;

Lee Heeseung has departed the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/cortis-kpop-group-debut-music-album-members-facts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">K-pop</a> group ENHYPEN, its label announced early on March 10. The singer, dancer, and rapper will leave the massively popular group effective immediately
&ldquo;Through in-depth discussions with each of the members about the future they envision and the direction of the team, it became clear that Heeseung has his own distinct musical vision and we have decided to respect it,&rdquo; the company said in a statement.&nbsp;
The 24-year-old idol is known in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/stray-kids-seungmin-lollapolooza-2024-kpop-newjeans-lineup" target="_blank" rel="noopener">industry</a> for his stable vocals, songwriting skills, and powerful stage presence. Across fan circles, he is widely recognized as the group's primary vocalist, meaning his departure from ENHYPEN will likely result in a difficult period of transition for the remaining members. Following Heeseung's departure, ENHYPEN's members are Ni-Ki, Jake, Sunghoon, Jungwon, Sunoo, and Jay.&nbsp;
"It&rsquo;s difficult to relay the whole process through a short notice, but this decision comes after extensive deliberation. We understand that this news is a lot to process and may be received with mixed reactions. Nevertheless, we hope you understand that this decision was made for the future of ENHYPEN and Heeseung," the <a href="https://x.com/ENHYPEN/status/2031263792613699825?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2031263792613699825%7Ctwgr%5E51a608c46def4867cd7eafca5eac830c05f8bc81%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.billboard.com%2Fmusic%2Fmusic-news%2Fenhypen-heeseung-leaves-group-solo-1236195800%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post</a>, made to BELIFT social media, concluded.&nbsp;
BELIFT LABS also confirmed that Heeseung will leave ENHYPEN, but he will remain signed to the label as a solo artist.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Thanks to the members with whom I shared countless emotions, and to [fans], who always filled every empty space with their support, I was able to take step after step toward a dream that once felt out of reach,&rdquo; Heeseung wrote in his own statement. &ldquo;I am working hard on an album so I can meet you all again soon."
Details on Heeseung's solo album have yet to be announced, but per the artist's statement and the label's, rest assured, the singer is hard at work.
