Following in the footsteps of fellow pop stars like Britney Spears and JLo, Lady Gaga has announced that she's heading to Vegas for a 74 show residency, which will span over two years.
Starting in December 2018, the singer will take over the MGM Theater, bringing her pop discography and archive of outre costumes with her. In a tweet, she said, "I've always dreamed of playing in Las Vegas ... now I can leave my heart on stage every night" she said in a statement."
Though unconfirmed, rumors exist that Gaga will be making close to 100 million, which significantly exceeds Britney's rumored $476k per show.
Lady Gaga is currently on a world tour promoting her latest Grammy-nominated album, Joanne. That tour ends February 2018, and will give the singer close to 10 months to prep her Vegas show. Expect plenty of wigs, and more than a few guest appearances from her Cheek to Cheek collaborator Tony Bennett.
