Following Logic's show-stopping Grammy performance with Alessia Cara and Khalid with his hit track "1-800-273-8255," the rapper continues to deliver his empowering message. Early this month, the 28-year-old released a new mixtape, Bobby Tarantino II, and today, he remixes Sam Smith's latest single "Pray." In the remix, Logic opens up and shows a more vulnerable side as he utters, "I don't think you know the weight on my shoulders, that gets heavier as I get older... I pray that you hear me."
In a social media post announcing the remix, the rapper explained that it's his most important feature yet. "Writing from the perspective of someone who feels unwanted and unaccepted. Im here to tell you there are others like you! You're loved and you CAN be yourself!!!"
The Maryland-raised musician also has an episode lined up in a new Netflix documentary series on the life of rappers. In the original series, Rapture, Logic talks about his road to success. "Rap, it’s my way to vent and let other people know that I've been there and I know what it's like," he said.
