Pop culture's reigning families are no strangers to drama, controversy, and more.&nbsp;

Over recent weeks, 26-year-old Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, has taken to Instagram to air some grievances about his family. He described the crippling anxiety he felt around his family and how it differed from the peace he felt when he was away from them.&nbsp;
As any good student of pop culture knows, high-profile family feuds are nothing new&mdash;in fact, they've been impacting Hollywood for decades. Though some have been long forgotten by the general public, others have lived on in infamy.&nbsp;
As the Beckham family drama continues to unfold in the public eye, see some of the biggest celebrity family feuds in pop culture history that have garnered similar shock.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Brooklyn, Victoria, and David Beckham</h2>

While the events surrounding the Beckham family are still unfolding, these tensions appear to have originated back in 2022 when Brooklyn Beckham married his wife, Nicola Peltz. Instead of wearing a dress offered by her fashion designer mother-in-law, Peltz wore a custom Valentino gown, leading fans across the world to wonder what was going on behind the scenes. Later in January 2026, Brooklyn alleged that several things went down at this wedding that deeply upset his bride: firstly, Victoria "hijacks" his first dance with his bride. Then, she cancelled the making of Peltz's dress, forcing her to make a last-minute change. Finally, the "Wannabe" singer reacted negatively to the idea of including Peltz's family at the Beckham table, making them sit at separate tables directly across from each other. After all of this, it was only a matter of time until rumours began circling about a family feud, which was denied at the time.&nbsp;
For the next couple of years, things would go smoothly. The Peltz-Beckham family showed a united front at the premiere of David's Netflix documentary,&nbsp;Beckham, in 2023. Victoria even showed support to her daughter-in-law by going to her Lola&nbsp;movie premiere in 2024, and that year, the family spent Christmas together. That Christmas would be the last time all the Beckhams are in one room for the foreseeable future.
In August 2025, Nicola and Brooklyn renew their vows without any other Beckhams present, and in October, the pair skipped the premiere of Victoria's buzzy Netflix documentary, Victoria Beckham. In December 2025, fans noticed that Brooklyn, Nicola, Victoria, and David no longer follow each other on Instagram. Finally, in January 2026, Brooklyn spoke up about the whole situation, escalating the situation from a long-held rumour to full-on public drama.

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Demi Moore and her daughters: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis</h2>

In 2011, just after her separation from Ashton Kutcher, actress Demi Moore broke her sobriety, which led to a strain on her relationship with her daughters. Her three daughters&mdash;whom she shares with actor Bruce Willis&mdash;couldn't understand why their mother couldn't let Kutcher go: &ldquo;I was addicted to him, is the best way I can put it", Moore writes in her memoir&nbsp;Inside Out, "and I did all the things that addicts do. I prioritized my addiction over my needs and the needs of my family.&rdquo;
Moore's codependency on Kutcher took a huge toll on the actress's family life and personal life. Not long after, Moore checked into rehab in 2012, and over ten years later, the family makes public appearances together and stands strong in the face of difficult personal challenges.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Macauley Culkin and Kit Culkin</h2>

In the early stages of his career on screen, Macauley Culkin was managed by his father, Kit Culkin. Years later, it came to light that Kit was abusive towards the Home Alone actor as well as other members of his family.
&ldquo;My father was always, you know, abusive, but it didn&rsquo;t get really, really, really bad until later on," Macauley told&nbsp;<a href="https://nymag.com/nymetro/arts/features/4664/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Magazine</a>&nbsp;back in 2001.
After Patricia, Macauley's mother, and Kit split, the entire Culkin family reportedly felt the weight lifted off their shoulders. Macauley removed his father's name from his trust in order to prevent his financial control, and custody went to his mother. The actor has stated that he has not seen his father since the custody trial back in 1995.&nbsp;
The actor has made it clear on several accounts that reconciliation is not in the cards.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">The Cyrus Family</h2>

Though the family has been in the spotlight for years, the Cyrus' public feud truly began in 2022, when Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus got divorced, and the family was divided. When Tish remarried Prison Break&nbsp;star Dominic Purcell, Miley Cyrus, Brandy Cyrus, and Trace Cyrus were present, while Noah Cyrus and Braison Cyrus were nowhere to be found.
&ldquo;Noah is very loyal to Billy Ray,&rdquo; a source told <a href="https://people.com/noah-cyrus-loyal-billy-ray-following-hard-divorce-exclusive-8602701" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a> in February 2024. &ldquo;She and Billy Ray have always had a really close relationship. [The divorce] hasn&rsquo;t been easy for any of the kids. Their parents&rsquo; separation was really hard, but it was also long overdue.&rdquo;

Noah was always reportedly very close with Billy Ray, which caused a rift between her and Miley, given the Disney star's past with her father. In 2024, Miley won a Grammy for her song "Flowers" and left Billy Ray out of her acceptance speech.&nbsp;
Not long after, rumors began circling that Noah, Tish, and Dominic Purcell were all in a love triangle, alleging that Noah was seeing Dominic while Tish was pursuing him.
"Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other, and then Tish started something up," an insider told&nbsp;<a href="https://people.com/noah-cyrus-dominic-purcell-were-seeing-each-other-prior-to-mom-tish-cyrus-marrying-actor-source-exclusive-8603362" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>&nbsp;just a month later.&nbsp;"Tish knew he had been seeing Noah."
Tish and Dominic reportedly started seeing a couple's therapist not long after rumours began to swirl. Luckily, Tish and Noah were able to reconcile, and by that summer, the pair were seen together in Los Angeles.
