Maroney, an art gallerist based in New York City, grew up learning and appreciating the art business, as his father, James Maroney, was a former art dealer in Manhattan and Head of American Paintings at Christie's. Maroney's professional path mirrors his father's, as he now directs the prestigious Gladstone Gallery in New York City, with a large clientele of esteemed individuals. 
Before joining Gladstone, he worked with notable artists like Carroll Dunham and Matthew Barney at the Gagosian Gallery after completing his art history degree at NYU.

So, how did the two come to meet and fall in love? There's nothing like a good old set-up, and that's exactly what happened. After a few years of a quiet marriage, <a href="https://people.com/parents/jennifer-lawrence-pregnant-expecting-first-baby/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a> confirmed in September of 2021 that Lawrence was <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/jennifer-lawrence-cooke-maroney-pregnant-first-child-baby" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pregnant</a>, although the couple did not disclose any further information.
