The name itself comes from moss phlox, one of the first flowers to bloom in early spring, and that alone kind of sets the tone. This is a seasonal turning point&mdash;the moment when everything starts to feel a little lighter, a little more alive, even if you&rsquo;re still figuring things out.
If you catch it just after sunset, the moon will rise low on the eastern horizon, taking on that oversized, golden glow that makes it feel closer than it actually is (and, yes, more photogenic).
