Rapper <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/best-moments-2021-mtv-vmas-lil-nas-x-olivia-rodrigo-doja-cat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jack Harlow</a> attended the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/2021-bet-awards-red-carpet-best-looks-lil-nas-x-zendaya" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BET Awards</a> last night. His outfit of choice? A t-shirt with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/lil-nas-x-viral-moments-birthday-rapper" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lil Nas X&rsquo;s</a> face and name on it. Why, you may ask? To support his fellow &ldquo;Industry Baby,&rdquo; collaborator <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/lil-nas-x-drops-montero-album-gives-birth" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lil Nas X</a>, who was apparently snubbed from receiving any nominations at the awards show.&nbsp;
In recent weeks, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/lil-nas-x-confirms-he-dated-music-video-costar-boyfriend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lil Nas X</a> has been outspoken about his lack of nominations. In a series of now-deleted tweets, Nas tweeted, &ldquo;Thank you <a href="https://variety.com/t/bet-awards/">BET awards</a>. an outstanding zero nominations again,&rdquo; and &ldquo;black excellence!&rdquo; per <a href="https://variety.com/2022/music/news/lil-nas-x-bet-awards-snub-1235283114/">Variety.</a>
And a few days before the BET Awards, Nas dropped a new single with a clear message: &ldquo;F*** BET.&rdquo; His new single, &ldquo;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE-2BPd2R4c" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Late to Da Party,</a>&rdquo; features these explicit words multiple times at the beginning and end of the song.&nbsp;
"How did Nas take Harlow&rsquo;s show of support? &ldquo;wow i really love this man,&rdquo; Nas <a href="https://twitter.com/LilNasX/status/1541187143393067009?cxt=HHwWgoC-5dLisuMqAAAA">tweeted </a>on Sunday night.
But aside from showing support for Nas, Harlow also performed with a special, surprise guest at the award show&mdash;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/brandy-best-90s-fashion-moments-young-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brandy</a>.&nbsp;
The singer, actress, and model joined Harlow on stage to freestyle during Harlow's"First Class."&nbsp;

The performance came together after Harlow appeared on <a href="https://twitter.com/BrandyLegion/status/1524388888286052353" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HOT 97's&nbsp;</a><a href="https://twitter.com/BrandyLegion/status/1524388888286052353" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ebro In The Morning</a> and didn't seem to recognize Brandy's "Angel in Disguise," and therefore, was unsure who the artist was.&nbsp;
As a clue, the hosts hinted that actor and singer Ray J was related to the artist. But even then, Harlow was unsure. After hearing about the situation, Brandy <a href="https://twitter.com/4everBrandy/status/1526439772704493569?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1526439772704493569%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.capitalxtra.com%2Fnews%2Fbrandy-hilariously-responds-clip-jack-harlow-learning-about-her-famous-brother%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweeted</a>, "I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing [his] ass to sleep."
