<p>Ahead of its star-studded three-hour 50th anniversary special on Sunday night, <em>SNL</em> kicked off the celebration with a special concert featuring top pop stars on Friday evening.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/saturdaynightlive" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Saturday Night Live</em></a> is pulling out all the stops for its 50th anniversary, and the celebrations kicked off in style last night, Friday, February 14, with a star-studded concert ahead of the highly anticipated three-hour special airing this Sunday, February 16. Hosted by <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/snl" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>SNL</em></a> alum and late-night favorite Jimmy Fallon, the event brought together a mix of music&rsquo;s biggest stars and comedy legends for a night of unforgettable performances, hilarious tributes, and plenty of nostalgia.</p>
<p>The evening featured powerhouse musical acts, with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/mileycyrus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miley Cyrus</a> delivering a performance of her hit "Flowers" and Post Malone surprising the crowd with a rock-heavy cover of <em>Smells Like Teen Spirit.</em> But in true <em>SNL</em> fashion, the night wasn&rsquo;t just about the music&mdash;it was about the laughs, too.
