<p>For the past week, Olympics coverage has been dominating the news and everyone's social media feeds. More specifically, fans have been raving over some of the members of the USA figure skating team. This year, the USA figure skating team has presented nothing more of prodigcal performances from it team members, from Ilia Malinin's quadruple axes to Alysa Liu's carefree disposition on the rink.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Ilia Malinin is currently sitting in first place in the Men's Figure Skating category and is on the hunt for the top prize in his already illustrious career. He has one of the greatest arrays of jumps in figure skating history, earning the nickname 'Quad God' after landing his first quad jump. USA Today predicts that his debut shows promise that could redefine figure skating as we know it.&nbsp;</p>

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Alysa Liu</h2>

<p>Before stepping onto the Olympic rink, Alysa Liu was the youngest US national champion for figure skating at 13 years old. She shocked the figure skating community in 2022 when she abruptly retired at 16, desiring to enjoy her life as a normal teenager. When she returned, she took the community by surprise when she stated she would be wholly in charge of her training regimen. As she told <em><a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/after-retiring-at-16-figure-skater-alysa-liu-returns-for-the-olympics-60-minutes-transcript/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">60 Minutes</a>:</em><span>&nbsp;</span>&ldquo;No one&rsquo;s going to starve me or tell me what I can or can&rsquo;t eat.&rdquo;</p>

<p><span>Hailing from Plano, Texas, Amber Glenn had an early love for skating sparked by watching Sarah Hughes win Olympic gold in 2002. Glenn has garnered attention on social media for her grace on and off the rink. In the free skate category, she was seemingly down on her luck, but she refused to show a self-deprecating front, commenting to NBC LA that she was proud of her mental perseverance. Win or lose, she has become an icon for her willingness to lift herself and her teammates up in such a high stakes competition</span></p>

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Isabeau Levito</h2>

<p>Isabeau Levito is the youngest in the 'Babes of Glory', a term coined referring to Liu, Glenn, and Levito.&nbsp;She is the 2024 World silver medalist, 2022&ndash;23 Grand Prix Final silver medalist and the 2023 U.S. national champion, and at 18 years old, she's just getting started. She hasn't even taken the ice yet, but she's making her home state of New Jeresy extremely proud.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Madison Chock is currently a silver-gold medalist alongside her partner and husband Evan Bates. She is a three-time World champion, three-time Grand-Prix champion, and three-time Four Continents champion. <span>With former partner&nbsp;</span>Greg Zuerlein<span>, Chock is the&nbsp;</span>2009 World Junior<span>&nbsp;champion,&nbsp;</span>2008&ndash;09 Junior Grand Prix Final<span>&nbsp;champion, and&nbsp;</span>2011 U.S. national<span>&nbsp;bronze medalist.</span></p>

<p>Evan Bates is an Olympic silver medalist with partner and wife Madison Chock. This is not his first brush with the Olympics, earning two gold medals in the team event in the 2022 Olympics. Chock and himself have represented the US in figure skating in the 2014, 2018, and 2022 games.</p>
