L’Agence Celebrates The Everyday, Extraordinary Woman for Spring 2019

Scoring a presentation one day ahead of NYFW 2018 madness, the LA-based brand paid homage to its home city's easy Southern Californian free spirit.

"We always ask ourselves: 'Is it wearable? Where would [the L'Agence woman] be wearing this to? Will she feel confident?'" explains CEO and Creative Director, Jeff Rudes, at the backstage of the brand's first-ever runway show.

Each piece of L’Agence Spring 2019 has been carefully and beautifully designed for the modern woman. Thanks to effortlessly chic silhouettes and soft colors, these must-have staples have been reinvigorated and elevated so as to allow the wearer to rock these looks in almost any occasion during the day. The collection also draws heavily from the 1970’s by bringing back the puff sleeve and perfectly tailored 40-inch bell-bottom jeans. Though L'Agence's clothes may seem more subdued compared to what one normally sees on Fashion Week runways, this is precisely what makes L'Agence unique. "The brilliance of what we do is in the simplicity. We don't do runway that's shocking, we don't do things that are tricky [but] the clothing really warrants being here. We're ready for Fashion Week."

Since co-founding J Brand in 2005, Jeff Rudes has been notorious for his uncanny ability to transform basics into something special and L’Agence Spring 2019 is no exception.
