Following their seasonal fashion collection, founders Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 have released a capsule, D25, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their brand.
While the duo’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection—presented just days ago during Fashion Week—exemplified sassy luxury, D25 features laid-back basics—sweatsuits, tees, and jeans with new commemorative ball and countdown logos. Red, gray, black, and white are core colors of the collection, with coral and hot pink accents for women and orange accents for men. D25 also includes some playful accessories: tote and bum bags, caps, and even a beach towel to be used on warm autumn days.
Since its menswear debut, the Italian label has branched out into womenswear, childrenswear, accessories, and fragrances. The brand’s popularity skyrocketed when Madonna commissioned their pieces for her music videos and tours, and it instantly became a favorite of celebrities in the 2000s. While Dsquared2’s aesthetic has changed over the years, its sexy, fun roots have remained.
