The designer has stepped back into the spotlight with this latest announcement.&nbsp;

Two years ago, John Galliano presented his final collection for Maison Margiela. Despite the great creative director shuffle of 2025, the designer didn't reenter the mix, much to the surprise of fans across the world. Instead, Galliano opted for a different approach for his return to the industry: a two-year partnership with Zara.&nbsp;
During his time with the brand, Galliano is expected to "re-author" the label's extensive archives with a range of seasonal lines. While at the helm of Givenchy, Dior, and Margiela, Galliano was renowned among fashion fans for his ability to capture the core of each label and reimagine it for a new, modern audience.
Now, he'll do the same for Zara. Per the brand, the designer will borrow garments from previous seasons, deconstruct them, and reconfigure them.&nbsp;
The collections are slated to be released on a seasonal basis beginning in September 2026.&nbsp;
