From A-list presenters to nine distinct finalists, the awards took place at the Fondation Louis Vuitton.

Back in April, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/2026-lvmh-prize-finalists-colleen-allen-zane-li-final-selection-date-award-fund-jury-members">LVMH Prize announced</a> its finalists, which consisted of nine global talents. Colleen Allen, Daniel del Valle Fernandez, Galib Gassanoff, Gabriel Figueiredo, Harry Pontefract, and Petra Fagerström were amongst the designers who were selected to compete for one of the three prizes.
On Friday morning, each designer presented their collections to an outstanding jury. Delphine Arnault, the chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture and founder of the LVMH Prize, was joined by Pharrell Williams, Jonathan Anderson, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Phoebe Philo, and Nicolas Ghesquière. A few moments later, the awards were given out.
Two years after launching her eponymous label in Antwerp, Belgian designer Julie Kegels took the top spot for the 2026 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. The accolade was presented by Jennifer Lawrence and came with a €400,00 cash award and a year of custom LVMH expert-led mentorship.
After graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, the 27-year-old talent has put the ethos of women holding multiple identities to the forefront of her brand. Rather than focusing on a specific look, Kegels elevates multiplicities while keeping artisanship and instinct at the heart of her work. By exploring femininity, sculptural designs imagined in sustainable materials embrace individuality.

New York-based designer Zane Li was bestowed with the Karl Lagerfeld Prize for Innovation by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The honor is accompanied by a €200,000 grant and a year of mentorship directly from LVMH specialists.&nbsp;
Born in Chongqing, China, the founder and creative director of Lii debuted during the Fall/Winter 2024 season. A 2023 Fashion Institute of Technology graduate, his work showcases the cross-paths of sport and couture, resulting in bold shapes, silhouettes, and ensembles.
To close out the trifecta of awards, Thai actor and model Urassaya Sperbund presented the Savoir-Faire Prize. As the industry began to focus on heritage and craft, the accolade was introduced in 2024 to honor fine artisanship. This year, Anil Padia of Yoshita 1967 won the prize, €200,000, and mentorship from LVMH experts.
Not only is the designer the third creative to take home the award, but he is the first Kenyan finalist in the prize's history. Years of working between Paris and Nairobi, Padia's Kenyan-Indian background pairs perfectly with slow production, women-led craft groups, and the exploration of identity, memory, and taboo. The use of handwork as a language that supports those behind the work is key to Yoshita 1967.
