<p>On her birthday, we&rsquo;re celebrating the unforgettable fashion bond between Lana Del Rey and Alessandro Michele.</p>

<p class="sr-only"><span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">Today, on <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/lana-del-rey-best-fashion-moments-grammys-lyrics" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lana Del Rey&rsquo;s</a> birthday, we celebrate not only her music and poetic world but also her singular relationship with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/categories/fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion</a>&mdash;one that turns every appearance into a cinematic moment. At the heart of this style story is her evolving connection with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/valentino-haute-couture-spring-summer-2025-alessandro-michele" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alessandro Michele</a>, now creative director of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/valentino" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Valentino</a>.</span></p>

It began years ago, when Lana first embraced <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/alessandromichele" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michele&rsquo;s</a> creative vision. Two kindred spirits: Lana&rsquo;s melancholic, theatrical elegance meets Michele&rsquo;s fantastical, dreamlike imagination. Their aesthetic connection feels not only organic but inevitable&mdash;an ongoing dialogue that&rsquo;s deeply personal and visually powerful.</p>

<p data-start="0" data-end="350">At the 2025 Met Gala, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/taylor-swift-copying-lana-del-rey-style-music-celebrity-comparison" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lana Del Rey</a> appeared like a mystical apparition. She wore a black velvet and brown satin gown from <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/alessandromichele" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alessandro Michele&rsquo;s</a> Vertigineux Spring 2025 collection for Valentino. The look was both dramatic and refined, featuring a low-waisted silhouette with a pleated skirt, structured bodice, and an elegantly embroidered lace back.</p>
<p data-start="352" data-end="483" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">But the true stroke of genius? Two golden alligator clips placed in her hair&mdash;a symbolic tribute to her new husband, Jeremy Dufrene.</p>

<p data-start="3605" data-end="3893" style="text-align: justify;">And today, as we celebrate <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/lana-del-rey-boyfriends-dating-relationship-history-engaged" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lana</a>, we also celebrate this: a woman who is living art, and a creative synergy that has the power to leave its mark.<em></em></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">With Michele's move to the creative direction of Valentino, the singer-songwriter continues to tell a refined and sophisticated style, expressing her personality through creations that embody the aesthetic ideal of the Roman designer. Their collaboration represents a tribute to that special connection that only a few muses and designers can embody.</p>

Happy Birthday Lana Del Rey: Alessandro Michele’s Ultimate Muse
