2017: Rihanna wore and avant garde Comme des Garçons dress to the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçon Art Of The In-Between" Met Gala.

2019: Rihanna shook social media with her outfit for the "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" Met Gala. She wore a custom John Galliano gown and matching headpiece.
