Rihanna and luxury conglomerate LVMH decide to close the Fenty chapter and invest in other projects.

<p><a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/how-much-money-does-rihanna-make-from-her-fashion-empire" target="_blank">Rihanna&#39;s</a> partnership with the world&#39;s largest luxury conglomerate, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/top-fashion-company-acquisitions" target="_blank">LVMH</a>,&nbsp;has just ended a chapter. The two parties announce that they intend to close the clothing brand Fenty just two years after its launch.</p>

<p>The brand has not posted anything on its social networks since the beginning of January, and the last drop of collection was in November 2020, which was in collaboration with shoe designer <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/amina-muaddi-shoes-rihanna-bella-hadid" target="_blank">Amina Muaddi</a> .</p>

<p>LVMH confirmed the closure with a brief statement:&nbsp;&quot;Rihanna and LVMH made a joint decision to suspend activity based in Europe.&quot;</p>

<p>According to sources, a part of the team remains at Fenty&#39;s headquarters in Paris to close the remaining operations. Although Rihanna&#39;s luxury label is shuttering, LVMH&#39;s confidence in the fashion and beauty mogul hasn&#39;t faltered. LVMH plans to focus its investments on <a href="https://www.lofficiel.at/en/beauty/fenty-beauty-launches-its-first-skincare-products" target="_blank">Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin</a>, in addition to&nbsp;Rihanna&#39;s successful lingerie venture, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/savage-x-fenty-show-rihanna-lizzo-normani" target="_blank">Savage x Fenty</a>. At the end of last year, Rihanna was looking for investors to expand her lingerie business to sportswear.</p>

<p>It seems that the pandemic played a major part in the story. In addition to retail sales declining sharply in 2020, Rihanna&#39;s travels had to be restricted, and as Fenty&#39;s headquarters were in Europe, it made the star&#39;s job very difficult. Currently based in California, Rihanna has managed to stay closer to her other projects that are based in the United States.</p>

<p>In the Rihanna-verse of business ventures, Fenty Beauty outperforms on social media with 10.5 million followers, followed by Savage x Fenty with 3.9 million, then Fenty with 1 million, and the newest Fenty Skin gaining ground with 800,000.</p>
