Few do it like Tyler, the Creator when it comes to style.

The artist's unique style has cemented him as a source of constant inspiration. Known for his distinct blend of retro and contemporary styles, Tyler's looks are as bold and genre-bending as his music. From oversized puffers to bold headwear, the artist's wardrobe incorporates individuality and confidence. Plus, there is always a hint of the unexpected, evident in his Chromokopia album character and portfolio of street style looks.

Since Tyler, the Creator started making music in 2007, his fashion evolution has involved a consistent focus on a skater-inspired, streetwear-heavy aesthetic with refinements over time. His looks often lean on gum soles, bombers, and short sleeve button-up shirts. The artist also continues to toy with high-fashion expression, including in his tailored looks when he may sport a tie under a cardigan or furry aviator hat with slacks.

After the 2019 release of Igor, his sixth studio album, Tyler embraced a more eclectic color palette and noticeably began playing with unique accessories, signaling an era and pivot towards even more novel experimentation. This transformation continued through 2021's Call Me If You Get Lost album, where he fully leaned into luxury pieces, blending preppy and vintage-inspired silhouettes with his distinct, playful touch.

Tyler doesn't just know how to dress well, but has also proved himself as a savvy designer through his collaboration capsule with Louis Vuitton and his labels Golf Wang and Golf le Fleur. Each has served as an extension of Tyler’s personal style and creative vision. The brands have also helped the artist introduce his fans to his sartorial world, supplying them with everything from vibrant pastel hoodies to bold, custom-patterned suits.

With the October 2024 release of Chromakopia, his style is once again capturing the attention of his fans and fashion lovers. His listening party and appearances in New York City and Los Angeles, revealed his new green-clad character, who wears an eerie mask and military-inspired suit. Though the character is part of the album's fictional universe, it's another great example of how the artist's knack for style transcends his own wardrobe.

As Tyler, the Creator’s style continues to evolve, he shows no signs of slowing down his bold, genre-defying approach to fashion. With each new album, Tyler reimagines what’s possible in his personal wardrobe, bringing fans along for a journey of self-expression. From his early days in streetwear to his current high-fashion experimentation, his looks remind us that style, like music, is an art form meant to grow and transform.
