Director Steven Knight brings the Guinness family to life in Netflix's newest series.&nbsp;

Peaky Blinders&rsquo; director Steven Knight returns&ndash; this time with a historical drama series centered on one of the most powerful families in Ireland. Based on the concept by Guinness descendant Ivana Lowell, House of Guinness dives into the turbulent lives of the Guinness brewing dynasty, promising a mix of family intrigue, romantic drama, and detailed period storytelling.&nbsp;
Set in Dublin in 1868, &lsquo;House of Guinness&rsquo; follows the four adult children of Benjamin Guinness as they navigate life, love, and legacy amidst an uncertain future of the Guinness Brewing Company in the aftermath of their father&rsquo;s death. Meanwhile, political conditions in Ireland are tumultuous&ndash;the Fenian uprising creates a chaotic background to the family drama both on the streets of Dublin and within the company.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The series features Anthony Boyle (Masters of the Air), Louis Partridge (Enola Holmes), Emily Fairn (The Responder) and Fionn O&rsquo;Shea (Normal People) as the four Guinness siblings.&nbsp;
As the season kicks off, audiences watch as Benjamin Guinness&rsquo; immense fortune is left to only two of his four children, Edward and Arthur. His daughter, Anne, and his youngest son, Benjamin, are forced to watch from the sidelines as their brothers come head to head about the future of the business.&nbsp;

Ivanna Lowell (descendant of Arthur Guinness) brings a personal perspective to the series as executive producer&mdash;she was inspired by Downton Abbey while visiting family in Ireland and wrote the initial treatment for House of Guinness as soon as she returned home. Now, a decade later, the series has become one of Netflix's most anticipated releases.&nbsp;
With all eight episodes set to premiere on Sept. 25, Netflix is positioning House of Guinness as a centerpiece of its fall slate. As Succession and The Crown have reached their endings, this new series could be the next must-watch legacy drama.
