The episode opens with fallout from last week&rsquo;s tension between Diana and Stephen. Her parents receive an anonymous email containing explicit photos from Diana&rsquo;s freshman year&mdash;images she once sent Stephen. Given his habit of keeping score and weaponizing the past, it&rsquo;s painfully obvious who&rsquo;s responsible. Diana&rsquo;s attempt at independence is punished swiftly, reminding her (and us) that Stephen never lets anything go.
Valentine&rsquo;s Day arrives with zero romance and maximum dread. The friend group spirals into a bleak party game of &ldquo;most likely to,&rdquo; but the prompts are vicious instead of playful. &ldquo;Most likely to secretly hate themselves&rdquo; lands on Lucy, which feels less like a joke and more like a diagnosis. The game reaches a breaking point when Bree says Wrigley is most likely to kill himself&mdash;an offhand cruelty that cuts deep. Wrigley snaps, telling her she should confide in her actual boyfriend, Evan. The moment exposes how much unsaid tension has been festering between them.

Bree later goes to confront Oliver, only to be told by his wife, Marianne, that he&rsquo;s &ldquo;somewhere else&rdquo; for the night. The implication is obvious. Bree drops the bomb anyway, telling Oliver&rsquo;s wife that Amanda&mdash;the new girl he&rsquo;s seeing (played by Iris Apatow)&mdash;is only 17. The scene ends with the two women confiding in one another, united by betrayal and the slow realization of just how predatory Oliver really is.
On her walk back to the dorm, Lucy appears dissociated, drifting in a near-fugue state&mdash;only to accidentally end up at Stephen&rsquo;s dorm. Yikes. Diana intercepts her before things escalate. In a rare moment of vulnerability, Lucy confesses she&rsquo;s been living in constant paranoia ever since Stephen took that video of her. It&rsquo;s one of the episode&rsquo;s quietest scenes&mdash;and one of its most devastating.
Finally, after leaving Oliver&rsquo;s place, Bree calls Wrigley. The two admit what&rsquo;s been painfully obvious all along: they make each other feel good. It&rsquo;s a moment of honesty&mdash;but also one that further entangles an already toxic web of relationships.
Episode 6 doesn&rsquo;t offer relief or resolution by any means. Instead, it doubles down on emotional decay, showing how secrecy, shame, and unspoken desire continue to rot this friend group from the inside out. Valentine&rsquo;s Day, after all, has never felt less romantic, but gives me hope that my Valentine's Day can't be as bad as theirs...right...?&nbsp;
