The month of April is no exception, bringing&nbsp;original content to stream like Netflix&#39;s new show&nbsp;Cooking with Cannabis&nbsp;and the season 4 premiere of&nbsp;Insecure. It&#39;s six episodes, so very easy to binge if you&#39;re quarantining at home. Stand-up comic&nbsp;Iliza Shlesinger stars&nbsp;in, and is also an&nbsp;executive producer of&nbsp;the series.

Also coming to Netflix on April 1st is this original baking show. Home bakers who don&#39;t have the best track record in the kitchen seek a second chance to prove their culinary skills. In each episode, three contestants try to&nbsp;re-create edible masterpieces. For example, one challenge is to paint self-portraits on cookies.&nbsp;The winner gets a $10,000 prize. Comic Nicole Byer and pastry <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty-zodiac/isabella-poti-chef-capricorn-zodiac-beauty">chef</a> Jacques Torres host.

Appropriately coming to Netflix on April 20th,&nbsp;​​​​​​singer Kelis premieres her new show called Cooked with Cannabis. It&#39;s ​a&nbsp;cooking competition series; the contestants are challenged to make masterful dishes made with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/can-cannabis-become-a-luxury-product">cannabis</a>-infused ingredients. Leather Storrs, a chef from Portland, Oregon, will also be hosting alongside Kelis.

Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story&nbsp;is an in-depth look at the life of&nbsp;Cyntoia Brown who was sentenced to life in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/sterling-ruby-frieze-la-2019">prison</a> after killing a man in self-defence. She was granted clemency and released from prison last year in 2019. The much-anticipated series comes out on Netflix April 29.&nbsp;

If you haven&#39;t yet seen the Oscar-winning film&nbsp;Parasite, now is your chance.&nbsp;All unemployed, Ki-taek and his family take a strange interest in the wealthy and alluring Park family and&nbsp;find themselves in an unexpected situation. Greed and class discrimination are major themes in this film, which has gotten an increasing amount of buzz as time has gone on. The show is out on Hulu&nbsp;April 8.

Parasite

Calling all horror and science fiction fans! Directed by The Office&#39;s John Krasinski, A Quiet Place stars Krasinski&nbsp;and his wife, Emily Blunt. In this suspenseful <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/categories/film-tv">film</a>,&nbsp;a&nbsp;family must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures that attack when they hear a sound; even the quietest whisper can mean death. Married couple Evelyn and Lee must protect their children and fight back against their predators. The movie is out&nbsp;on Amazon Prime on April 2.

A Quiet Place

For the uninitiated,&nbsp;High Maintenence&nbsp;is comedy series starring Ben Sinclair&nbsp;about&nbsp;a nameless weed dealer in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/editorial-brooklyn-babes">Brooklyn</a>. While dropping off his goods to his customers, he makes brief appearances in their lives to get a glimpse at their daily routines,&nbsp;allowing viewers to explore the complexities of other people&#39;s lives.&nbsp;The season 4 finale premiers on HBO on April 3rd.
