<h2 class="p1">The Witcher Season 4: A New Face for the White Wolf</h2>

Among the most interesting shifts lies in the casting. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/liam-hemsworth-miley-cyrus-split-rumors-update-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Liam Hemsworth</a>&rsquo;s takeover as Geralt of Rivia has been one of Netflix&rsquo;s most closely watched transitions. His debut is being treated as more than a quiet swap, with the creative team hinting that the change will be woven into the story itself.
Hemsworth, for his part, has expressed excitement about stepping into the role. &ldquo;As a Witcher fan, I&rsquo;m over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia,&rdquo; he wrote on Instagram when his casting was first announced. &ldquo;Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I&rsquo;m honoured that he&rsquo;s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf&rsquo;s blades for the next chapter of his adventure.&rdquo;

Season 4 of The Witcher will feature Liam Hemsworth in the lead role of Geralt of Rivia, stepping into the part following Henry Cavill&rsquo;s exit. Returning cast members include Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. New additions to the ensemble include Laurence Fishburne as Regis, Sharlto Copley as Leo Bonhart, James Purefoy as Stefan Skellen, and Danny Woodburn as Zoltan Chivay.
Alongside Cavill&rsquo;s departure, several other familiar faces will not return for the fourth season. Season 3 saw the deaths of several characters, including Tissaia (MyAnna Buring), Lydia (Aisha Fabienne Ross), Filavandrel (Tom Canton), Artorius (Terence Maynard), Gallatin (Robbie Amell), and Rience (Sam Woolf). In addition, Kim Bodnia, who portrayed Geralt&rsquo;s mentor Vesemir, exited the series due to scheduling conflicts.&nbsp;
