When it comes to pop culture's most defining TV shows, HBO's Girls is at the top of the list.&nbsp;
This year marks the 10-year anniversary of some of the show's most impactful episodes, and the cast members and fans alike have been reminiscing on the zeitgeist-defining moments. One such episode?&nbsp;"Panic In Central Park" in which Marnie (Allison Williams) reconnects with her boyfriend Charlie (Chris Abbott), and they go on a marvelous adventure through New York City.
Nostalgia is clearly resonating with audiences, and&nbsp;Girls is a show that captures it in a bottle. As we all collectively take a walk down memory lane, join L'OFFICIEL in exploring what the show's cast has been up to in the years since.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Lena Dunham</h2>

Lately, the leading lady of Girls, Hannah Horvath, has kept very busy; Lena Dunham's memoir Famesick is coming out April 14, and she has filled her time with writing and acting jobs.
She started her own production company in 2019 called&nbsp;A Good Thing Going,&nbsp;which can be credited for the pilot episode of Industry (2020) and the Netflix original Too Much (2025), which Dunham wrote, produced, and starred in alongside Meg Stalter. Notably, she's acted in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2018),&nbsp;The Stand (2020), and Music (2021). Most recently, Dunham was seen moderating an event for Jennette McCurdy's debut novel, Half His Age, at the Town Hall in New York City. &nbsp;&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Allison Williams&nbsp;</h2>

Since Girls,&nbsp;Allison Williams (who played the high-strung and morally questionable Marnie) made her feature film debut in Jordan Peele's&nbsp;Get Out (2017), a role she prepared for by isolating herself from her cast and crew, a commitment that gained her much critical acclaim as an actress. It's clear that Get Out (2017) triggered a horror kick for her, as she subsequently starred in the Netflix original The Perfection (2019) and was featured in the Netflix original series A Series of Unfortunate Events (2018). Soon after, she booked the lead in Blumhouse's M3GAN as Gemma, a roboticist and creator of the titular robot, which has been the highest-grossing movie of her career.&nbsp;
She later reprised the role of Gemma in M3GAN 2.0 (2025), which she also produced. While the sequel did not see the commercial success of its predecessor,&nbsp;The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney believed it gave Williams an opportunity to "step into the gray with gusto". Her most recent film, Regretting You (2025), also saw great commercial and cultural success.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Zosia Mamet&nbsp;</h2>

Zosia Mamet, who portrays the loveable Shoshana, has kept it pretty low-key in recent years. After Girls,&nbsp;Mamet appeared as a series regular in television series including The Flight Attendant, The Decameron, and Laid. She had an appearance in Madame Web, as well as moments in other indie films and voice-acting work, including audiobooks, American Dad, and Regular Show.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Jemima Kirke&nbsp;</h2>

The elusive Jemima Kirke, who played the eccentric and unpredictable Jessa, fills her schedule with a variety of endeavours. Firstly, she has continued to exercise her artistic talents and, in 2022, presented for&nbsp;Batsheva Hay's spring collection at Ben's Kosher Deli. As far as acting, she's appeared in several indie films and in music videos; she was featured in the Mick Jagger music video for his song "Gotta Get A Grip" in 2017 and in the video for Zayn Malik's song "Dusk Til Dawn" the same year.&nbsp;
In 2021, Kirke appeared in the Netflix original Sex Education as Hope, headmistress of Moordale Secondary School. Then that same year, she played Melissa in the television adaptation of Sally Rooney's book Conversations With Friends. Most recently, she starred in the Apple TV+ series City On Fire,&nbsp;based on the book of the same name.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Andrew Rannells&nbsp;</h2>

Andrew Rannells, the hilarious Elijah, has become a juggernaut in the world of film, theatre, and television. On Broadway, he played Whizzer in the cult-classic musical Falsettos and acted in the revival of The Boys In The Band. He then reprised his role in a television adaptation of the same name, which he also produced. He's snagged some voice acting gigs, most notably a main role in Netflix's Big Mouth (2017-2025) and Amazon Prime's Invincible (2021-2025).
In 2022, Rannells made his London stage debut originating the role of Jim Baker in the musical Tammy Faye, for which he was nominated for a Laurence Oliver Award for Best Actor in a Musical in 2023. In 2019, he published his first book, a memoir titled Too Much Is Not Enough, a series of essays about his childhood in Omaha, Nebraska, and his years in New York leading to his Broadway debut. He released a second memoir in 2023 called Uncle of the Year: &amp; Other Debatable Triumphs.&nbsp;
He made his directorial debut with episode 7 of season 2 of Modern Love titled "How Do You Remember Me?", which he also wrote as an adaptation of an essay he wrote for the New York Times column.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Christopher Abbott</h2>

Christopher Abbott, who plays Marnie's boyfriend Charlie, has acted in several small roles in films such as Poor Things (2023), Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016), and The Crowded Room (2023). In 2024, it was announced he would join Florence Pugh in the Netflix adaptation of John Steinbeck's novel East of Eden in the role of Adam Trask.&nbsp;
Recently, Abbott's relationship with Aubrey Plaza came to light with the announcement that the pair is expecting a baby together.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Alex Karpovsky</h2>

During Girls, he also acted in the Coen Brothers'&nbsp;Inside Llewyn Davis and Hail, Caesar! and was a series regular on Amazon's Homecoming, played Dr. Seiderman in Curb Your Enthusiasm, and had a leading role in the Peacock limited series Angelyne. He's seen greater success as a producer and writer for Amazon, Comedy Central, FX, RBS, and Hulu. He's done voice-acting gigs in The Paris Review, Modern Love, and This American Life.&nbsp;
He also collaborated with graphic designer Teddy Banks. Together, they work as Spielbergs, creating, directing, and producing the 2019 miniseries Oh, Jerome, No.&nbsp;
Most recently, he had a featured role in the Netflix original Nobody Wants This.

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Ebon Moss-Bachrach</h2>

Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Marnie's loser boyfriend and musician entanglement Desi, has appeared in&nbsp;The Punisher and Andor. Most notably, he has acted as Richie Jerimovich in the FX series The Bear, which has earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards. He also played a sad ex-boyfriend opposite Jennifer Lawrence in the 2023 comedy No Hard Feelings.&nbsp;
In 2025, Moss-Bachrach played Ben Grimm/The Thing in The Fantastic Four: The First Steps and is set to reprise his role in Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). He is a signatory of the Film Workers for Palestine boycott pledge that was published in September 2025.
He made his Broadway debut in the spring of 2026 opposite Jon Bernthal in Stephen Adly Guirgis's stage adaptation of Dog Day Afternoon.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Adam Driver</h2>

Adam Driver, who plays Hannah's goofy entanglement, Adam, has undoubtedly made a name for himself as a dramatic actor. He acted as Kylo Ren in J.J. Abrams's Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, and gained critical acclaim for his role in A Marriage Story opposite Scarlett Johansson. In the 2010s, he spent building up his resume with films such as The BlacKKKlansman, Logan Lucky, and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.&nbsp;
In 2020, he hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Halsey and became the subject of a running gag on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Throughout the rest of the 2020s, he's acted in House of Gucci, Annette, The Wrap, and Megalopolis.&nbsp;
Next, he will reunite with Scarlett Johansson in Paper Tiger with Miles Teller, Chris Rock's Misty Green, and Alone at Dawn with Anne Hathaway.&nbsp;
