In the midst of Paris Fashion Week, Jonathan Anderson's latest collection is the definition of dance first, think later.

Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior, knows the harsh reality that life is too short for boring celebrations. So, to combat this truth, the Northern Irish fashion designer brought classic going-out energy to the Musée Nissim de Camondo for his latest menswear collection.
Yes, it is only the second day of Paris Fashion Week. However, the party is just getting started with the help of Anderson's creative vision that combines house archives and modern interpretations. Guests received a black disco ball that featured a Dior-branded charm and ring that can attach to a variety of things.
If you didn't get the hint by now, this collection is ready to dance the morning away with 66 distinct looks. With the help of British DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Fred again..., artists such as Christine and the Queens, Jamie T, Jhené Aiko, Latin Mafia, and Young Thug aid in the mission of carving out new meaning for the already known, not just in sound, but in patterns and silhouettes.
Model Orlando Spence, who opened and closed the show, kicked off the spectacle by walking down some stairs towards the runway before pulling out an iPod-like device and connecting it to a sound system. As the model walked down to a sampled KTNA "Summer Never Dies" track by Fred again... and KETTAMA, he wore a pinstriped-printed silk chiffon suit, an oversized white collared shirt with open exaggerated cuffs, and a pair of textured gray-and-black shoes. The party is in full swing.
Lounge-like ensembles, distressed jeans, and fringe-embellished cardigans took center stage on the catwalk before holographic sequined trousers, which impersonate the five-pocket jean, stole the show with their mesmerizing sparkle. Notably, look 15 pays homage to a 1979 Dior haute couture motif by embroidering a trompe l'oeil scarf onto a striped silk vest. A ripped denim blazer, a white button-up, front-facing navy blue trousers, and a pair of brown shoes with daisies marked the perfect transition to Fred again... sampling "Todo Lo Que Quierias Saber" by Mabe Fratti.
Fine silver chains used as garlands, sequins that create black and white polka dots, crystal pavé sunglasses, and disco ball boots have never shone brighter, especially with Latin Mafia's "y como te digo que" track. If you thought the party was over, fear not, as overstated lapels, precious metal-colored pieces, and an array of dream-worthy shoes brought the heat to an already-hot climate.
Club-worthy tracks, vocals, and samplings from artists like Aiko and Headie One allowed pieces like rose pink jeans, floral brooches, and grandma-approved shimmery knits (made chic, of course) to capture the essence of refreshing one's character. To wrap up the showcase, tuxedos with a looser fit, vintage zig-zag woven blankets turned into totes, and scarves with swayful fringe brought out a euphoric element to recognition, also known as the familiar.
For the finale, an unreleased Fred again... track featuring Jamie T and Christine and the Queens brought a futuristic yet optimistic sound to the show. In classic style, Anderson thanked guests both in and outside of the venue while wearing a white T-shirt with blue detailing, a washed blue collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a brown belt, a pair of classic blue jeans, and a pair of neutral-toned sneakers.
Friends of the house that attended the show include Pharrell Williams, Jimin of BTS, Helen Lasichanh, Paul W. Downs, Alexander Ludwig, James Marsden, Aaron Gordon, Charlie Walker, Mike Faist, Arón Piper, Iris Apatow, Conner Swindells, Little Simz, 070 Shake, Seonghyeon, Juhoon, and Keonho of CORTIS, and Vinnie Hacker, amongst others.
In a time where the unknown can be daunting, Dior championed the reinvention of the familiar not just in sampling and remixing tracks, but in styles, fabrics, and techniques crucial to house codes. While you could just shift perspectives, Anderson wants you to add a little groove and magic to each repositioning for the Spring/Summer 2027 season.
