Though the SAG strike is still happening, Ariana Grande may be keeping busy as she's allegedly working on new music.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/why-is-everyone-leaving-scooter-braun-demi-lovato-ariana-grande" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Scooter Braun</a> isn't the only thing <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/ariana-grande-beauty-moments-red-carpet-music-videos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ariana Grande</a> is reportedly dropping. Grande is allegedly recording new music for her seventh album <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/10/16/ariana-grande-is-working-on-new-music-in-nyc-sources/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to Page Six</a>. Insiders stated that while Grande has all this unexpected free time from the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/sag-aftra-strike-movies-tv-shows-delayed-actors-writers-union" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ongoing SAG Strike</a>, the singer and actress has spent said time in the recording studio.
From what sources have shared, she is working alongside producer Max Martin, who has worked with her on previous records including her song "God is a Woman."
As for when this new music would be released? "She doesn&rsquo;t know when she&rsquo;ll want to release as she wants to be respectful of the timeline for Wicked, and originally didn&rsquo;t want to do any music at all until after the films were released," a source told Page Six.

This reportedly new album follows Grande's release of the Yours Truly deluxe edition in celebration of the record's 10th anniversary. Prior to that, all of her attention has been focused on the upcoming <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/wicked-movie-details-ariana-grande-cynthia-erivo-trailer-release-date" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wicked film</a> starring <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/michelle-yeoh-jean-todt-married-geneva" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michelle Yeoh</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/cynthia-erivo-luther-the-fallen-sun-wicked-movie-cover-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cynthia Erivo</a>, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/jonathan-bailey-interview-anthony-bridgerton-season-2-netflix-gay-actor-private-life" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jonathan Bailey</a>, with Grande taking on the role of Glinda.&nbsp;
In her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/cynthia-erivo-luther-the-fallen-sun-wicked-movie-cover-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cover interview with L'OFFICIEL</a>, Erivo spoke briefly about taking on the role of Elphaba and watching the Broadway musical for the first time on her 25th birthday: "It&rsquo;s so strange. I don&rsquo;t remember getting out of the theater or getting on the bus. But I remember when I got off the bus, I felt really alive, because I just had never thought about a story that way.&nbsp;I think it was the first time I&rsquo;d seen a villain&rsquo;s story retold in a way that gave you the reason why they were the way they were. And I just loved the idea that this woman actually had more light in her than people would allow her to have."
And while the A-list cast, music set list, and first-look photos have garnered much buzz about the film, it's been Grande's rumored romance with co-star <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/who-is-ethan-slater-ariana-grande-dating-wicked-relationship" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ethan Slater</a> that has made the most headlines. Shortly after announcing her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/ariana-grande-dalton-gomez-divorce-separated-husband" target="_blank" rel="noopener">divorce from Dalton Gomez</a>, word circled that Grande was in a relationship with actor Slater, best known for his role as Spongebob Squarepants in the Broadway musical adaptation.&nbsp;
Their relationship has certainly been met with a lot of backlash given they are both freshly separated from their respective spouses (and Slater just welcomed his first child with his former wife only last year), however, the two stars have not let the criticism affect them. In the most recent news, Slater and Grande are reportedly living together <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/ariana-grande-and-ethan-slater-are-living-together-in-nyc-details/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to US Weekly</a>, and are "really happy and really good for each other."
With a new man and a new movie, the only thing rounding out this happy ending is new music.&nbsp;
