Almost a year after releasing their EP, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/katseye-beautiful-chaos-tour-setlist-tour-dates-songs-outfits-internet-girl-lyrics">Beautiful Chaos</a>, girl group Katseye has announced an upcoming single, "Pinky Up." The song is set to release on April 9, per the group's social media.&nbsp;
<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/katseye-members-dream-academy-contestants-where-are-they-now-adela-emily-iliya">Katseye</a> offered fans a glimpse at the concept of the group's new era on Instagram a week before the song drops, and while details are still scarce, excitement on social media is building.

"Pinky Up" will release just a day before Katseye is set to take the stage at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/coachella-2026-lineup-headliners-sabrina-carpenter-justin-bieber-music-festival" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2026 Coachella music festival</a> on April 10, a monumental occasion for the group.&nbsp;
Despite interest swirling online about the group's new era, many fans are wondering what the group dynamic will look like. Earlier in 2026, Manon Bannerman, one of Katseye's six members, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/manon-bannerman-temporary-hiatus-katseye-health-wellbeing-illness-members-tour-concerts-songs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced a "temporary hiatus"</a> from group activities. During the hiatus, Bannerman intends to focus on her health and mental wellbeing. Shortly after the announcement went live on her label's account, she posted a short, clarifying message on WeVerse addressing fans.&nbsp;
"Hi friends. I want you to hear this from me, I&rsquo;m healthy, I'm okay, and I'm taking care of myself," she wrote. "Thank u for checking in! Sometimes things unfold in ways we don't fully control, but I'm trusting the bigger picture. Thank you for standing by me. I love you endlessly and can't wait to see you again.&rdquo;
Since the announcement, Bannerman has not posted to any of her social media accounts, but eagle-eyed fans noticed on April 2, shortly after the "Pinky Up" teaser released, that she had removed Katseye from her Instagram bio. Following the change, users online are wondering whether it could be a sign that Bannerman is stepping away from the group entirely, or she's simply revamping her social media ahead of a comeback.&nbsp;
Addressing concern from listeners, Bannerman followed up the Instagram change with a statement on April 2.
&ldquo;Thank you so much for all the love and support you've been sending my way. I'm really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time," she said. "HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I'm happy and I'm healthy. I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.&rdquo;
