The Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame has announced 17 nominees for its class of 2026, with one of its most widely genre-spanning lists of contenders ever. Here is the official list of nominees.&nbsp;

The 2026 nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame reflect the institution&rsquo;s increasingly expansive definition of rock and roll. Spanning metal, R&amp;B, Britpop, hip-hop, adult contemporary, and global pop, this year&rsquo;s list recognizes artists whose influence extends beyond charts and into culture at large.
The Nominating Committee, a group of roughly 40 music industry professionals including journalists and academics, curated the list. From there, the decision-making process expands. Fan voting is open, with the public able to cast one ballot per day for their preferred nominees. The top five to seven fan-selected artists will be combined into a single ballot and counted alongside votes submitted by the Hall of Fame&rsquo;s more than 1,200 voting members.
Inductees will be announced in mid-April, with the ceremony scheduled for the fall. Here is the complete list of nominees:
