After years of training and thousands of auditions, Hybe x Geffen's new global group is finally here.&nbsp;

HYBE x Geffen, the label behind the pop phenomenon Katseye, has officially revealed their second and newest girl group: Saint Satine. Originally known as Prelude, Saint Satine is a four-member multinational girl group created with the goal of creating acts that surpass national, cultural, and artistic boundaries. This new endeavour follows a template previously refined by predecessors Katseye, a group that's taken the internet by storm, earning them multiple Grammy and American Music Award nominations. Saint Satine brings together Emily (20, USA), Lexie (21, Sweden), Samara (20, Brazil), and Sakura (16, Japan), who has just joined, rounding out the group. Emily is best known for her technical dancing abilities, which caught the attention of the judges during&nbsp;The Debut: Dream Academy. 
Lexie has become most known for her songwriting abilities, which leaves fans speculating if she will be the creative heart of this new group. Samara built a following mainly for her sweet and soulful vocals, which she displayed on the show. Tobi Sakura, the newest and youngest member, was selected from over 14,000 Japanese applicants who applied for the final spot through&nbsp;World Scout: The Final Piece, which aired exclusively on Japanese streaming platform ABEMA from February 24 to May 12, 2026.&nbsp;The first three members were first introduced to global audiences through reality show The Debut: Dream Academy&nbsp;(later immortalized in the Netflix docuseries&nbsp;Pop Star Academy), which drew over 120,000 applicants from around the world and can be credited for Katseye's overwhelming success.&nbsp;
But how does a group like Saint Satine come to be in&nbsp;the first place? It all began in 2025 when HYBE x Geffen announced the World Scout: The Final Piece&nbsp;project, revealing Emily, Lexie, and Samara as confirmed members, leaving the fourth spot for a Japanese member to be determined by the survival show. The finale was held live in Los Angeles on May 12, where Sakura competed against fellow finalist Ayana.
Saint Satine performed their debut single&nbsp;"PARTY b4 the PARTY" during the finale, and many were caught off-guard by Sakura's age, still a minor and the youngest of the group. Although surprising to many, this is not necessarily a new phenomenon, even as recently as predecessor group KATSEYE, where Yoonchae was also 16 when they debuted, and even younger on Dream Academy.
