Love is in the air. Can you feel it? Maybe? Well, anyway, High Fidelity comes out on Hulu this Valentine's Day and what better way to celebrate its release than with a new playlist? L'Officiel USA has enlisted the help of the show's very own David H. Holmes, who you may have seen previously on Mindhunter or Law and Order: SVU. In the series, Holmes plays Simon, who is one of the employees at Rob's (Zoë Kravitz) record store, one of Rob's best friends, and also one of her most significant ex-boyfriends.

In the spirit of the love-filled Hulu show and the romantic holiday that coincides with its debut, find all of Holmes' Valentine's Day music picks below, along with a brief description of why each song made it onto his list. Whether you have a valentine, a galentine, or plan to spend your evening relaxing in front of rom-coms with a bottle of wine, we hope you enjoy. Happy Valentine's Day!

Don't Laugh - The Louvin Brothers

It's rare to hear a sensitive cowboy.

Hybrid Moments - The Misfits

As romantic as Danzig gets.

Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes - Paul Simon

A pretty song about sleeping in the doorway of a bodega.

Have Love, Will Travel - The Sonics

If you’re doing it right, how anyone should feel.

Love You So - The King Khan & BBQ Show

As simple as it gets.

I Won’t Hurt You - The West Coast Pop Experimental Band

The lyrics here are something to aspire to.

Pass the Wine (Sophia Loren) - The Rolling Stones

I’ll take this over their sappier love songs any day.

Into My Arms - Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds

I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t moved by this song.

Girl from the North Country - Bob Dylan

There’s always one.

Two Girls (Live from the Old Quarter) - Townes Van Zandt

Until there’s two.
