The Kate Spade New York Foundation will donate one million dollars towards the prevention of suicide and mental health awareness — in memory of the designer and founder of the brand Kate Spade, who committed suicide on June 5.

Donations will begin with $250,000 to the Crisis Text Line, and the brand will match all public donations made to the hotline from June 20 to June 29 up to $100,000. You can donate here.

At the time of her death, Kate Spade was only 55 years old. She sold her share of the brand in 2007 and founded the brand Frances Valentine with her husband in 2015. After the death of the designer, the Kate Spade team announced that bags designed by the late designer will continue to be released for four more seasons.
