One year after Justin and Hailey Bieber tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony, the couple has said "I do" again in a long-awaited traditional affair. After working their way through the highs and lows of their first year of marriage, the former teen heartthrob and the model-slash-former L'Officiel cover star finally had the chance to celebrate their marriage with family and friends, holding a religious ceremony at Somerset Chapel and continuing the festivities at the luxurious Montage Palmetto Bluff resort in Bluffton, South Carolina. Over 150 guests, comprising relatives and close friends including Joan Smalls, Camilla Morrone, and Kendall Jenner, came out for quite possibly the wedding of the year, with Jenner having also toasted her fellow model at a bachelorette party a few days earlier.
The bride and former Baldwin arrived at the rehearsal in a white corseted mini dress by Vivienne Westwood and a headband in her hair. Just a couple of days after Bella Hadid walked Westwood's Paris Fashion Week show in a major mariée look, the choice seemed to prove the designer is having a moment in the bridal spotlight. Looking ever the impeccable groom, Justin wore a black tuxedo with a golden Audemars Piguet watch on his wrist.
However, nothing could prepare the world for Hailey's actual wedding look, a custom creation by none other than Off-White's Virgil Abloh. The designer has proven a strong ability to mix streetwear taste with modern glamour through his much-hyped brand, and this gown was no different. Largely fit for the Biebers' traditional wedding dreams, it's a long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder number covered in lace and pearl embellishments, but a look at the model's veil reveals an unmistakable Off-White signature: across the bottom, it reads "TILL DEATH DO US PART." For a couple who's held true to their values while always mingling with the fashion and pop culture worlds, no statement could be more perfect.
