Spot the famous faces courtside as tennis's final Grand Slam of the year gets underway in New York.

Fan Week is officially underway at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, and the seats are already full of famous faces. Known for drawing the fashion crowd almost as reliably as it draws tennis fans, the US Open has spent the past few days delivering exactly the kind of star-studded turnout New York expects from its home Slam.
The fashion contingent showed up first. <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kaia-gerber-age-the-shards-best-street-style-looks-fashion-style-cindy-crawford-daughter">Kaia Gerber</a> and Homer Gere were seen together in the stands, both leaning into the kind of sharp, pared-back tailoring the venue rewards. Designers came out in force, too, with <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/beauty/vera-wang-ageless-appearance-secrets-diet">Vera Wang</a> arriving in a white column dress layered under black leather and <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/tory-burch-fall-winter-2026-collection-runway-images-see-all-the-looks-celebrities-front-row-models">Tory Burch</a> pairing a pale blue button-down with a brown pleated midi.&nbsp;
<a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/anna-wintour-vogue-exit-editor-in-chief">Anna Wintour</a>, a fixture at Arthur Ashe for decades, was courtside as always, joined across the week by Savannah Guthrie, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jon Bon Jovi, and Rainn Wilson. On Wednesday, Tinashe turned up in a white lace-trimmed set, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph in a draped chocolate-brown.
The tennis has been worth watching, too. On Tuesday night, <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-core-values-campaign-2024-roger-federer-rafael-nadal">Roger Federer</a> returned to Arthur Ashe Stadium for the first time since 2019 for an exhibition billed as "Roger Federer: An Icon Returns to New York," facing Andy Roddick in a one-set, no-ad match before the two returned for doubles alongside John McEnroe and Andre Agassi. The 45-year-old Swiss, who retired in 2022, packed the stadium for the night session.
<a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/serena-williams-us-open-2026-dates-carlos-alcaraz-tennis-match-doubles">Serena Williams</a> made a return of her own. Granted a wild card alongside Carlos Alcaraz for the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship, the 44-year-old six-time champion played her first competitive match in Flushing since 2022. The pair won their opening round before falling to Belinda Bencic and Flavio Cobolli in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic also headlined the two-day draw.
There is more to come. The women's doubles draw is announced on Sept. 1, and all eyes are on whether Serena and <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/venus-williams-tennis-book-strive-happy-viking-interview">Venus Williams</a> will pair up again after playing together at the Cincinnati Open earlier this month.
