In a recent Instagram post, Britney Spears harshly criticized her parents and celebrated their freedom before deleting the post.

Free from her father's strict <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/britney-spears-father-jamie-agrees-to-step-down-from-conservatorship" target="_blank" rel="noopener">conservatorship</a> since the end of September, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/britney-spears-y2k-fashion-juicy-tracksuit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Britney Spears</a> recently made a post on Instagram, celebrating her freedom and taking the opportunity to make sharp accusations against her mother, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/britney-spears-end-of-conservatorship-still-wants-justice-instagram" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lynne Spears</a>. "My father may have started guardianship 13 years ago... but what people don't know is that it was my mother who gave him the idea! I'll never get those years back. She secretly ruined my life," wrote Britney.
Now, the singer's mother has filed a petition, in which she is asking for $650,000 from the star's assets, for her participation in the guardianship and for legal fees. Lynne's lawyers claim she tried to "help Britney break free of what she saw as a very controlling existence."

Britney even edited the post made on her Instagram account, with more accusations against her parents, but soon after deleted it. "Take your whole 'I have NO IDEA what's going on' attitude and go fuck yourself!!!! You know exactly what you did... my dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship... but tonight I will smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me," added the pop princess.
In addition, after the repercussion of the post, the singer's father, Jamie Spears returned to speak out and asked for immediate and unconditional resignation from guardianship. "Britney's recent testimony and requests to take personal control of her assets and affairs have made it clear that continuing is contrary to her wishes," read the document shared by Jamie's lawyers.
