The singer and the former player were a couple dear to the public and the media. The relationship was confirmed on April 15 in a statement to The Today Show. The official end took place in August two years later. However, what few could have imagined happened, and a few days before their wedding scheduled for September 2004 the two broke up.
On the return of the couple, a source told E!: "Ben got in touch with her to see how she was [after her separation from Alex Rodriguez] and they had dinner together a few times in the past month."
&ldquo;It is natural between them and the chemistry is unreal. They stayed where they left off and are enjoying each other's company now.&rdquo;
