We went on a series of walks throughout the city that summer.&rdquo; According to Rainey Qualley, the actor&rsquo;s sister, she takes full responsibility for the couple having met that night. &ldquo;I was recording at Electric Lady, where Jack Antonoff works,&rdquo; she explains. &ldquo;We&rsquo;d heard rumors he was looking for forever love. On May 30, 2025, a <a href="https://people.com/music/margaret-qualley-jack-antonoff-engaged/">source confirmed</a> to People Magazine that the two were engaged. Qualley then seemingly made things official when she uploaded an Instagram post the following day, May 31, 2022, the photo depicting Qualley hugging Antonoff&rsquo;s neck, captioning it &ldquo;Oh I love him!&rdquo; The photo very clearly showing off her diamond and a subtle way to show off their engagement.</p>
