Inspired users created the <a href="https://www.npr.org/2020/10/11/922554253/tiktok-sensation-meet-the-idaho-potato-worker-who-sent-fleetwood-mac-sales-soari">&ldquo;Dreams&rdquo; Challenge</a>, recreating the video with their own skateboards, listening to the 1977 classic song. By mid-October, &ldquo;Dreams&rdquo; had officially made it to <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/rs-charts-top-100-21-savage-metro-boomin-1074735/">number 11 on the Rolling Stone chart</a>. The video also went viral on Instagram and Twitter, where Fleetwood&rsquo;s Mac&rsquo;s official Twitter account <a href="https://twitter.com/fleetwoodmac/status/1309900389538566147?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1309900389538566147%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rollingstone.com%2Fmusic%2Fmusic-news%2Fstevie-nicks-tiktok-viral-dreams-challenge-1075204%2F">retweeted the video</a> with the comment &ldquo;We love this!&rdquo; Ocean Spray also <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/07/us/ocean-spray-buys-car.html">gave Apodaca a token of appreciation</a>, gifting him a red pickup truck full of Cran-Rasperry juice.

It seems that the buzz surrounding the TikTok was enough to convince Nicks, <a href="https://www.today.com/popculture/stevie-nicks-explains-why-she-s-technophobe-wbna30135131">a self-identified &ldquo;technophobe</a>,&rdquo;&nbsp;to join the popular video app to share her own take on the &ldquo;Dreams&rdquo; challenge. In her video, Nicks sings along to a record playing &quot;Dreams&quot; while tying&nbsp;up a pair of white roller skates and&nbsp;sitting next to a&nbsp;carton of Ocean Spray. &ldquo;Afternoon vibe. Lace &lsquo;em up!&rdquo; Nicks captioned the video, tagging Apodaca. So far, Nicks&rsquo; video has 2.8 million likes and counting, and Apodaca&rsquo;s has over 8.8 million.&nbsp;

Nicks&rsquo; bandmate and Fleetwood Mac co-founder Mick Fleetwood also joined TikTok to recreate the video. Fleetwood even went on a <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-54471048">joint BBC broadcast</a> with Apodaca where he praised the video for being &ldquo;so joyous and fun.&rdquo;
