L'OFFICIEL's global shopping survey reveals that quarantine has women ready to dress to the nines, jewels included. 

After countless going out looks have been banished to dark closets during quarantine, women are tired of missed opportunities to dress their best.&nbsp;As a result, L&#39;OFFICIEL&#39;s latest global shopping survey saw an increased interest in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/diamonds-marilyn-monroe-kylie-jenner-shopping" target="_blank">sparkling jewelry</a>&nbsp;that can dress up any outfit.&nbsp;

Among survey participants, women strongly prefer necklaces above all other jewelry pieces, ranking the <a href="https://www.vancleefarpels.com/us/en/collections/jewelry/alhambra.html" target="_blank">Van Cleef &amp; Arpels Alhambra</a> pendant necklace and the <a href="https://www.dior.com/en_us/products/couture-JSAM95010_0000-rose-des-vents-and-rose-celeste-necklace-18k-yellow-and-white-gold-diamonds-mother-of-pearl-and-onyx" target="_blank">Dior charm necklace</a> as top styles. When posed against other luxury jewels, the Van Cleef &amp; Arpels pendant was most coveted by American women with a consensus of 61 percent of votes, and the Dior celestial charms won over 57 percent of French shoppers.&nbsp;

While women value timeless and sentimental jewelry that can be kept for years, survey participants also voted in favor of standout pieces that can be worn for any occasion. Statement jewelry can be timeless keepsakes just as much as a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/chain-necklace-jewelry-shopping-trend-charlotte-chesnais-the-last-line" target="_blank">classic gold chain</a> can, and women see the Van Cleef &amp; Arpels and Dior necklaces as investments rather than <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/how-to-make-tik-tok-trends-high-fashion-corsets-" target="_blank">quarantine-era trends</a>.

Pendant and charm necklaces came out in full force on recent <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/fall-2020-trends-fashion-week" target="_blank">Fall/Winter 2020</a> runways, with some incorporating chunky pearls or dainty layered pieces. In an era where many are only being seen from the waist up on <a href="https://lofficielbaltics.com/en/beauty/how-to-look-your-best-for-a-zoom-meeting-according-to-tom-ford" target="_blank">Zoom</a> or in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/jazz-leg-pose-instragram-trend-rosie-huntington-whiteley" target="_blank">Instagram</a> selfies, the perfect eye-catching necklace can pull major weight in making an outfit great.
