Ahead of New York Fashion Week, the Italian luxury fashion house unveiled a one-of-a-kind sculpture.

It's official: Bulgari has entered the public art space in the United States. Titled auruBOROS—Urban Memory and Collective Dream—the open-air installation serves as a pillar for the brand icon that is the Serpenti. From Sept. 10 to 20, the public can explore the temporary piece of art that brings sculpture and architecture together as one.
Not only is the piece on view at New York's High Line above Little West 12th Street, but it is also the latest destination of Serpenti Infinito's global voyage. The installation was first shown in Shanghai in 2023 before making its way to Seoul and Mumbai in 2025. Now, it has arrived in the United States.
“With Serpenti Infinito New York, Bvlgari reaffirms its enduring commitment to art as a universal language that connects cultures, inspires dialogue and celebrates creativity in all its forms," said Bulgari CEO Laura Burdese. "Bringing Serpenti to one of the world’s most dynamic cultural capitals marks a meaningful new chapter in the icon’s extraordinary journey, one that continues to evolve while remaining deeply rooted in our Roman heritage."
Through each stop that welcomes new faces, the same question emerges: How does a single symbol, like the Serpenti, travel, translate, and transform across different cultures? Berlin-based duo Plastique Fantastique, comprised of Marco Canevacci and Yena Young, has the answer for New York visitors.
Commissioned by Bulgari, Plastique Fantastique created the golden sculpture while achieving a balance between the current environment and mythical creation. Alongside their well-known immersive dimensional pieces, Canevacci and Young emphasize the importance of details that are hidden in everyday life.
AuruBOROS' twisting figure allows The Standard, High Line Hotel, its guests, and visitors to not only experience the city's dynamic energy but also walk away with a fresh outlook on themselves. Yet, the Italian craftsmanship experience isn't coming to a halt; it's only getting started.
To celebrate the arrival in NYC, Bulgari unveiled five one-of-a-kind creations, three new Serpenti Tubogas pieces and a luxurious minaudière that reimagine the city's artistic background through the house icon's vision. The pieces will make their worldwide debut in select boutiques starting this month.
The Serpenti Falling Drops High Jewelry necklace draws inspiration from Jackson Pollock's drip paintings; Jasper Johns' renowned perspectives of the American flag power the Serpenti Flag necklace and bracelet, while the Serpenti Ocean Deco High Jewelry is inspired by Miami's oceanfront Art Deco design. To round out the special offerings, the Serpenti Helix honors the Guggenheim Museum's iconic spiral.
Joining the speciality lineup are a single-twirl bracelet, a pair of Serpenti Tubogas earrings, and a twisting brooch, all featuring pavé diamonds and onyx eyes. Inspired by the 1968 Serpenti Harlequin watch, the Cobra chained minaudière arrives in Black, Smeraldo Prezioso, Feroza Turquoise, Royal Ruby, and Flash Diamond colorways. At Bulgari, it will always be Serpenti season, and it's time to join in.
