Whether you're a cinephile, a pop culture obsessive, or a fashion fan, the Oscars always proves to be one of the premier events on the calendar. To be sure, dazzling dresses, sophisticated suits, and unexpected style moments present plenty of excitement, but for beauty fans, the occasion offers equal thrill&mdash;because as any sartorial savant knows, it's the hair, nails, and makeup that make the look, and the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/2026-oscars-red-carpet-celebrities-photos-hudson-williams-michael-b-jordan-timothee-chalamet" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2026 Academy Awards red carpet</a> was no exception.&nbsp;
This year, the evening saw a whole host of wildly talented actors, filmmakers, and artists nominated, and each brought a unique flair in the styling department. As seen on stars ranging from Jessie Buckley to Zendaya, Hollywood's biggest icons didn't shy away from bold beauty choices. Now that the Oscars have come and gone, awards season may be over, but rest assured, the looks we saw on the red carpet will continue to set the tone for beauty trends for months to come.&nbsp;
Over the course of the past year, beauty fans have bared witness to plenty of trends in the makeup world, but one that refuses to rest (and with good reason) is soft, glowy glam. Stars like <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/nicholas-hoult-elle-fanning-interview-renfield-nosferatu-the-great" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Elle Fanning</a> and Chase Infiniti took to the carpet looking positively radiant, courtesy of styles that toe the line between natural glow and a full beat.
Meanwhile, Kate Hudson proved the transformative power that a healthy dose of blush can have. The star took to the carpet with a blush look that showed exactly why the baby pink makeup trend won't be dying down anytime soon.&nbsp;
In the nail department, we saw plenty of elegant french manicures and elegant barely-there nail looks, but several stars dared to dazzle on the carpet with bold styles that brought their whole ensembles together. Case in point, KPop Demon Hunters singer Audrey Nuna, who took to the event with sculptural, shimmery golden nails, in an ode to the film's smash-hit song. As if that weren't enough to draw the eyes of beauty obsessives around the world, her manicure also matched the custom Thom Browne dress she sported on the carpet.&nbsp;
