It's that time of year again&mdash;New York Fashion Week, at last. Though the ultra-chic, sophisticated, and artful pieces introduced in each and every new collection capture our attention first and foremost, there's no denying that people watching is informative in its own right.&nbsp; &nbsp;
The Spring/Summer 2026 shows officially began on Sept. 11, as signaled by the CFDA calendar, but off-calendar shows happened as early as the beginning of the week, when Rachel Comey and Brandon Maxwell hosted buzzy runway shows debuting their latest collections. For Maxwell, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/brandon-maxwell-spring-summer-2026-collection-runway-images" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spring/Summer 2026 presentation</a> was particularly monumental, as it marked a decade since the designer first introduced his eponymous label.&nbsp;
At the Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors shows, the front rows were positively star-studded. The former saw legends like Jessica Chastain, Usher, Elsa Hosk, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, Naomi Watts, and Oprah Winfrey sitting catwalk-side, while the latter boasted familiar faces including Suki Waterhouse, Law Roach, Lili Reinhart, and Kaitlyn Dever.&nbsp;
