For its tenth season, the label explores the paradox between confinement and freedom in a theatrical, abundant collection.

For its tenth season, Harris Reed unveils a sophisticated, almost weightless collection, titled 'The Aviary.' The Victorian Gothic splendor of the St. Pancras Hotel becomes the stage for a baroque theater between sky and cage. Here, the silhouette comes to life: winged corsets, unbridled crinolines, cascading drapes&mdash;each piece seems ready to take flight. Ambivalence reigns, between the structured confinement of sculptural cages and the airy freedom of flowing forms, like a ballet of chimerical creatures, half-human, half-bird, twirling in a burst of feathers and silk.
At <a href="https://www.lofficiel.com/fashion-week/un-air-de-rebellion-plane-chez-harris-reed-et-florence-pugh-l-incarne-sur-le-podi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harris Reed</a>, clothing becomes both architecture and metamorphosis: suits with exaggerated hips, extremely belted busts, hand-painted fabrics, gold embroidery, and crumpled velvet compose a hymn to excess, the sublime, the sensitive. The refinement of reinvented Nottingham lace, duchess satins painted like canvases, and feline or floral motifs transform each outfit into a living work of art. More than a collection, 'The Aviary' is a textile reverie, a sumptuous flight where freedom is born from excess.
Extending this vision beyond the garments, makeup artist Sofia Tilbury crafted looks that mirrored the collection&rsquo;s dreamlike duality. Sharp, winged lines traced around the eyes evoked feathers in flight, while a luminous, film-noir-inspired glow gave the models an otherworldly presence. With color kept to a minimum, the natural contours of each face emerged, transforming the models into ethereal creatures&mdash;half-human, half-bird&mdash;perfectly in step with the poetic world of 'The Aviary'.&nbsp;
