Arriving last with Blue Ivy by her side, the superstar delivers a dramatic, crystal-covered illusion look&mdash;complete with a sweeping feather train.&nbsp;

As expected, Beyonc&eacute; didn&rsquo;t just attend the 2026 Met Gala; she owned its very final moment on the steps. Arriving as one of the last guests of the night, the superstar delivered a show-stopping entrance in a look that quite literally embodied the evening&rsquo;s &ldquo;Costume Art&rdquo; theme, transforming the carpet into her personal stage.
Wearing a custom Olivier Rousteing crystal-encrusted gown that traced the illusion of a skeletal form across her body, all the way to her gloves. The flesh-toned sheer base was embroidered with bone-like structures, giving the effect of a true work of art (hence the theme), one that moved with her as she ascended the steps.&nbsp;
But it was the drama trailing behind her that sealed the look&rsquo;s place in Met Gala history. A voluminous, feathered train ran across the carpet (feathers seemed to dominate tonight's red carpet). Her accessories elevated the look even further. A celestial, crown-like headpiece (its designer still under wraps) sat atop her honey-blonde, 1920s-inspired finger waves, finished with sparkling Chopard accessories.
And in true Beyonc&eacute; fashion, she didn&rsquo;t arrive alone. By her side was Blue Ivy, continuing her own evolution into a fashion force. The young star wore a sculptural white gown featuring a voluminous, ballooned skirt.
Closing the carpet is no small feat, but for Beyonc&eacute;, it&rsquo;s simply tradition after making a comeback to the Met steps after a decade. Safe to say, it was worth the wait.&nbsp;
