It&rsquo;s fashion&rsquo;s biggest night, and there&rsquo;s one trend that clearly isn&rsquo;t going anywhere. Even at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/met-gala-2025-theme-dress-code-guest-list-co-chairs-livestream">Met Gala</a>, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/naked">naked</a> trend still found a home on the red carpet.
With the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/met-gala-2025-theme-dress-code-guest-list-co-chairs-livestream">this year's</a> red carpet officially underway, the biggest names in the game joined the spectacular in New York City, held at the Met Museum, with the theme being &ldquo;Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,&rdquo; centering around Black dandyism. There's no doubt that event co-chairs <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/asaprocky">A$AP Rocky</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/colman-domingo">Colman Domingo</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/pharrell">Pharrell Williams</a>, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/lewishamilton">Lewis Hamilton</a> looked quite dapper, but some of their guests chose to out a more daring and risqu&eacute; spin on the classic look. These celebrities are right on trend, as it is. Semi-sheer pieces, pantless silhouettes, and backless dresses were everywhere.
While many chose to wear suits, celebrities going for something a little more skin revealing. Helen Lasichanh went for a pantless look with a bodysuit, sheer tights, and stilettos. Sabrina Carpenter, wearing custom Louis Vuitton, was all legs in her bodysuit, worn without hosiery. Emma Chamberlain, in custom Courr&egrave;ges, went backless.
<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/naked">Naked dressing</a> has been making the rounds lately, especially at events and during award seasons. (Lest not forget Bianca Censori's internet-breaking, fully <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/bianca-censori-nude-naked-grammys-2025">nude look</a> at the Grammys.) While many celebrities have embraced the see-through look, it can still be somewhat surprising to see attendees opting for it tonight given the theme and dress code. As per Kerry Washington to Suki Waterhouse, scantily clad looks and interpretations are here to stay.
