This was true as ever during the 2025 awards season, as we spotted rare and expensive watches worn by both women and men on entertainment's biggest nights. Jeremy Strong made bold appearances on the red carpet this year. (Who can forget his mint green Loro Piana bucket hat at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/goldenglobes">Golden Globes</a>?) Plenty of Strong's statement-making looks also came from his watch game. Most recently at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/oscars">Oscars</a>, the actor wore a Richard Mille 74-02 Automatic Tourbillon Gold Quartz TPT, which is on the resale market for approximately $500,000. 
Another celebrity who wasn't messing around when it came to her watch game? <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/raye-music-singer-career-surprising-facts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Raye</a>. The British musician and rising pop-culture princess wore the Audemars Piguet Mini Royal Oak watch at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/grammys">Grammys</a> which resells for as much as $60,000.
Luxury watches have long been status symbols, but there is an emerging cultural fascination with them that far exceeds a price tag. Scrolling through the Instagram page, it's easy to get a closer look at the rare Cartier Crash watch <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kendall-jenner-suede-hermes-birkin-double-lapel-blazer-outfit-paris-haute-couture-week-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kendall Jenner</a> recently wore or <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/jennie-ruby-album-solo-debut-review" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jennie's</a> Chanel Boyfriend watch she wore on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

If there are two things we are sure of when it comes to a Jeremy Strong red carpet appearance is that he'll be in Loro Piana and Richard Mille. The combination of the two high-luxury brands is very Kendall Roy from Succession, but Strong's looks are anything but predictable. At the Oscars, the actor sported a Richard Mille&nbsp; 74-02 Automatic Tourbillon Gold Quartz TPT, which is on the resale market for close to half a million dollars. It was an evening of firsts for Elle Fanning as she made her first Oscars appearance while wearing one of the first of Sarah Burton's designs for Givenchy. The&nbsp;Complete Unknown&nbsp;actress finished off her look with the delicate <a href="https://www.cartier.com/en-us/fine-jewelry-watch-CRHPI01765.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cartier Zelda Fine Jewelry watch</a>. The watch, which is set with 112 brilliant-cut diamonds retails for a whopping $84,000.

Colman Domingo is one of Hollywood's most fashionable men, and his look at the 2025 Oscars was no exception. The actor paired his red, Valentino suit with a custom Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, which is speculated to cost a whopping $160,000.

As a Richard Mille brand ambassador, Michelle Yeoh is rarely seen without a stunning timepiece on the red carpet. She paired her blue, Balenciaga dress with a diamond-covered Richard Mille pav&eacute; (its starting price hovers around $100,000).

The SAG Awards were a big night for Timoth&eacute;e Chalamet as he took home the award for Best Actor and looked great while doing it. His custom Chrome Hearts look consisted of a leather suit and neon green button-down paired with a Bob Dylan-esque bolo tie. This wasn't any ordinary bolo tie though, as it was really a F&eacute;line de Cartier&nbsp;pendant watch from the brand's 2005 Libre collection. This unexpected watch styling gives Chalamet the prize for "Most Creative Watch Wearer" alongside his SAG Award.&nbsp;

Grammy winner and Oscar performer Raye has quickly entered the world of A-list stardom, and she's bringing the bling with her. The singer wore an Audemars Piguet Mini Royal Oak watch, which is found on the resale market for roughly $60,000, to the Grammys. Her styling of the timepiece is a testament to the effortless elegance of small watches.
