The American tennis player kicked off the French Open with a win&mdash;serving power and style in a chic marbled tennis set.

American <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/tennis" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tennis</a> star <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/facts-to-know-coco-gauff-tennis-star-french-open-rihanna" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Coco Gauff</a> kicked off her 2025 French Open run in dominant&mdash;and stylish&mdash;fashion, cruising to a 6-2, 6-2 first-round win over Australia&rsquo;s Olivia Gadecki. Clad in a marbled tennis set and matching headband by New Balance, the World No. 2 looked every bit the champion. But before she got down to business, Gauff had a brief moment of chaos.
The 21-year-old stepped onto Court Philippe-Chatrier only to realize she had left all her rackets in the locker room. Fortunately, the mix-up didn&rsquo;t throw her off one bit&mdash;she served, and won, in signature style. Her look consisted of a halter-neck top and pleated miniskirt with a marbled, tie dye-inspired print in a slate blue hue. Her manicure matched the azure ensemble, and her off-white white tennis shoes slid across the clay courts time and time again until she claimed victory.
Fresh off her first-round victory on Tuesday, Gauff is also making waves off the court with a buzzy new fashion partnership coming up. The 2023 <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/all-celebrities-at-the-us-open-style-inspiration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">US Open</a> champ has teamed up with her longtime sponsor, New Balance, and luxury fashion label <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/miumiu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miu Miu</a> for a limited-edition capsule collection that merges sport and style. As part of the collab, she&rsquo;ll debut three custom looks across select tournaments (not including the French Open) this summer in Rome, Berlin, and Cincinnati, a tournament she previously won.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/facts-to-know-coco-gauff-tennis-star-french-open-rihanna" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gauff</a>, who&rsquo;s previously worn Miu Miu on red carpets&mdash;including to the Oscars and on her 2024 Vogue cover&mdash;said she&rsquo;s excited to grow with the brand. &ldquo;They're a younger brand and there's something nice about growing with a brand,&rdquo; she <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVlQfPZYDzY" target="_blank" rel="noopener">noted</a> in a WTA interview.&nbsp;
Each look will be styled with matching silk zip-front hoodies and track pants, and Gauff will lace up a custom version of her signature shoe, the Coco CG2, reimagined by both brands. The full collection will be available for the public to shop for a limited time starting September 10, just after the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/best-celebrity-style-at-the-us-open" target="_blank" rel="noopener">US Open</a> wraps.&nbsp;

The day before Gauff's win four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka faced a devastating loss in the first round to tenth-seeded Paula Badosa. Her pink Nike look for the match was Sakura-inspired, from her frilly skirt to the cherry blossom adornments in her hair. The Japanese player and mom made her return to tennis early 2024 after taking maternity leave. "I hate disappointing people," she <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/sports/naomi-osaka-clips-themed-nails-suffers-devastating-1st-round-loss-french-open">said</a> post-match. "I don&rsquo;t necessarily know my grass-season schedule right now. I wasn&rsquo;t really expecting to lose in the first round."
Gauff will play her next match on May 29. Whoever will be her opponent is currently fighting to advance in their first round match.
