H&M's Latest Collection is Straight Out of Twin Peaks

The fast fashion brand appears to have been inspired by David Lynch's cult television show.

H&M's creative team went back in time for their latest collection—the midpoint between the eighties and nineties. In North America to be exact, near the city of Seattle, in the environment which formed the backdrop for David Lynch's cult series. The look and feel of Twin Peaks can be seen in high waist trousers, large sweaters and loose suits, including even the well-known trench coat of protagonist Agent Cooper.

The Studio Collection for men also has references to the fifties with high school elements. A bit like characters Bobby Briggs and James Hurley: tough and classic with a sporty touch.

The H&M Studio Collection will be available in stores as of September 6. Preview the collection below.
