In between her Broadway run in Becky Shaw, the actress keeps the night going at one of the Met Gala&rsquo;s most exclusive after-hours gatherings.

As the 2026 Met Gala spilled out of the museum and into the early hours of the morning, actress <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/madeline-brewer-you-season-5-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Madeline Brewe</a>r was among the stars keeping the night alive, stepping out for Cartier&rsquo;s ultra-exclusive after-party circuit in New York City. While the red carpet may be fashion&rsquo;s main stage, the after-parties have long become a second act where celebrities loosen up and debut entirely new looks.&nbsp;
The appearance comes at a particularly buzzy moment for Brewer, who is currently starring on Broadway in Becky Shaw alongside Patrick Ball. Balancing the stage with fashion&rsquo;s biggest night, Brewer&rsquo;s after-party turn felt like a natural extension of her rising presence. With Cartier&rsquo;s uptown soir&eacute;e known for drawing an intimate yet high-profile guest list,&nbsp;L'OFFICIEL got to chat with Brewer ahead of her big night out.&nbsp;

LOFFICIEL: Can you walk us through your getting-ready process? What are the small rituals or details that make you feel most like yourself before a big event like this?
MADELINE BREWER: I love a little pampering. I have a few masks I like to keep my skin hydrated. I also must listen to music I love (tonight it&rsquo;s Wolf Alice), and working with artists I love, like Sasha (Borax) and Timothy (Aylward), sets the tone for fun and ease.
LO: Jewelry always plays such a key role at a Cartier event&mdash;how did you think about accessorizing your look?
MB: Tonight, I&rsquo;m wearing a gorgeous Briony Raymond necklace and earrings, as well as Spinelli Kilcollin rings, a brand I&rsquo;ve been a fan of for a long time. Their pieces are incredibly beautiful and versatile, and as someone with ever-changing personalities from character to character, I love shapeshifters.

LO: What&rsquo;s the one product or step in your routine that instantly makes you feel ready for a night out?
MB: 111Skin face masks and an everything shower.
LO: You&rsquo;re currently starring in Becky Shaw on Broadway&mdash;how does stepping on stage each night compare to a high-profile event like Met Gala after-parties?
MB: There&rsquo;s a little crackle of anxiety and excitement with both&mdash;it&rsquo;s exhilarating. What I love most, and am so grateful for, both on stage and during event prep is being with my friends&mdash;people and artists I genuinely like and feel comfortable with. Collaborating with them and their immense talents is the cherry on top.

LO: With projects spanning theater, film, and television, do you find your sense of style shifting depending on the medium you&rsquo;re working in?
MB: I am much more free when I am working in theater. As a woman and an actor, I feel so plastic and malleable throughout the maintenance of a character. I often unintentionally find parts of myself blending with the character I&rsquo;m playing, for better or worse!
LO: After a night of partying, how do you wind down?
MB: I love to take a long, hot bath and wash the night away. Getting into bed clean is essential for a much better morning.
