<p>The long-awaited lineup of designers presenting at one of the world's fashion capitals has finally arrived.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 calendar has arrived and looks more exciting than ever. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) released the primary rundown of the highly anticipated event on Wednesday morning, which revealed the week's biggest shows and events.</p>
<p>With a jaw-dropping 94 experiences spanning runway collections, presentations, and digital immersions, this season's six-day run will have the city at a nonstop pace while delving into the industry's latest offerings. From September 10 to 15, we will witness an influx of celebrities chatting in the front row, well-loved models strutting down the catwalk, and many people running from one show to the next. Naturally, a chaotic yet adrenaline-filled energy is going to be present during NYFW.</p>
<p>Even though the calendar is officially out, some updates will be made later down the road. There are two "To be announced" slots on Sunday, September 13, at 6 p.m. and Tuesday, September 15, at 11 a.m. Many can speculate who these surprise labels are, but we will only know once it's announced.</p>
<p>Fashion lovers, reporters, and viewers from home, our time has finally arrived. So, to be prepared for the upcoming fashion extravaganza, here's what you need to know ahead of the NYFW Spring/Summer 2027 schedule.</p>

<h2>NYFW Spring/Summer 2027: Returning Favorites</h2>

<p>This season, many iconic brands associated with NYFW are making a triumphant return. Designers such as Proenza Schouler, Christian Siriano, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, Prabal Gurung, Carolina Herrera, Sergio Hudson, Ulla Johnson, and LaQuan Smith are ready to present their collections throughout the week.</p>
<p>After a mesmerizing Spring/Summer 2025 showing, Bad Binch TongTong has returned to the fashion calendar. Terrence Zhou, the 2026 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist, will showcase his collection on September 10 at 1 p.m., followed by Tommy Hilfiger at 2 p.m., who returns to the official calendar this season.</p>
<p>Also returning to NYFW is Monse, who last appeared for its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The women's ready-to-wear label will show on Friday, September 11, at 5 p.m. Other favorites of the spectacle include 7 For All Mankind, showing Saturday, September 12 at 3 p.m., and Thom Browne, who closes out the event Tuesday, September 15 at 5 p.m.</p>

<h2>NYFW Spring/Summer 2027: Newcomers and Debuts</h2>

<p>Not only is the upcoming fashion week full of familiar faces, but it has quite a few new names to the already-powerful lineup. Notably, CFDA member Henry Zankov will kick off NYFW by presenting his debut collection as artistic director for Diane von Furstenberg on Thursday, September 10 at 9:30 a.m.</p>
<p>Hailing from Warsaw, Poland, luxury fashion label Magda Butrym is headed west to make its debut at NYFW this season. Known for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities, the brand is sure to present signature eveningwear and wardrobe staples on Sunday, September 13, at 3 p.m. New York-born, London-based designer Connor Ives will also hold his first show on the calendar on Saturday, September 12 at 12:30 p.m.</p>
<p>Other new labels to the NYFW schedule include Benjamin Seidler, Grey's by Emily Grey, Max Esmail, Patrick Taylor, High Sport by Alissa Zachary, Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Hikari no Yami by Jakarie Whitaker, and Zaldy. Brace yourself for one-of-a-kind presentations that will have people talking.</p>

<h2>NYFW Spring/Summer 2027: Off-Schedule Highlights</h2>

<p>Even with more than 70 runway shows taking place over the course of six days, the CFDA has announced new additions to this year's NYFW. After its September 2025 announcement surrounding a fur-free policy for all brands showcasing collections, the plan goes into full effect this time around.</p>
<p>For the 25th anniversary of September 11th, the CFDA wanted to respect the world-altering event by starting at 10 a.m. rather than times such as 9 or 9:30 a.m. With a significant event like the 9/11 attacks, taking the time to grieve, reflect, and move forward is important for the hub that is New York City.</p>
<p>Ferrari Style, known to show its collections at Milan Fashion Week, will take a step back from Italy and present its Spring/Summer 2027 collection for NYFW. Since the event coincides with the brand's flagship store opening, it makes the most sense to have its newest offerings at one of the world's fashion epicenters. Do we know when they will announce the date? Not quite. But we will just have to wait and see.</p>

<h2>NYFW Spring/Summer 2027: Men's Day and CVFF Fashion Finalists</h2>

<p>As per usual, New York Men's Day will be one of the first events to kick off NYFW. Designers that will showcase in the morning and afternoon sessions include Alienant, Avon Anglers, big ocean x andy yu, Christopher Lowman, Clara Son, Ethan Lewy, Ouila, and Science Project Company.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In addition to a great majority of American designers and brands, a great selection of CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists will join in on the NYFW fun. Brands include Bad Binch TongTong, Jamie Haller, Milamore by George Inaki, Aisling Camps, Amir Taghi, Lii by Zane Li, and Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen.</p>

<h2>NYFW Spring/Summer 2027: Notable Absences</h2>

<p>With a large-scale event like NYFW, it is exciting to see big names and rising talents come together to present their recent works. However, brands like Peter Do, Helmut Lang, and Brandon Maxwell are notably missing from the incredible lineup.</p>
<p>Whether it be shifting towards different modes of presenting collections or even deciding to take a mini-hiatus, these brands have contributed to the excitement that makes NYFW. Only time will tell if the decision to return to the event will occur sometime soon.</p>
