While some of us are looking to get creative with our outfits at home while we stay indoors during the global health crisis we are currently in, some of us may be having a more difficult time getting inspired to do some spring shopping. Now more than ever, shoppers are looking to be more conscious with their spending, while still supporting brands that exercise ethical practices. In preparation for the hopeful sunny days of summer and post-quarantine living, we've rounded up 12 of our favorite sustainable swimwear brands to shop now.

While sustainable swimwear can be a vague label these days, we've scouted brands committed to using a combination of recycled materials, eco-friendly packaging, prioritizing charitable initiatives, providing fair wages for workers and more. 

Peony

Independent, and family-run sustainable swimwear brand Peony is commited to ethical practices across their whole supply chain. Using the eco-friendly material Econyl, Peony repuposes 100% of their materials from old fishing nets in order to manufacture their clothing. In addition to biodegradeable packaging, and ocean clean-up projects Peony has a core focus of taking care of the enviornment.
